15 days to go – the tents are being pitched

And the rainy season is just coming to an end

While the number of registrations climbs day by day, hard work is going on everywhere. Volunteers led by Ruben Bereswill and Paul Funk set up the tents for the ladies. The men’s sanitary facilities are tiled, grouted and painted. A company from Curahuasi is responsible for installing the windows. The clean-up work on the site is still ahead of us. Next week, eight Americans will join the ranks of the “tent erectors”. Every day now gains in value. In the end, we will say: “Oh, if only we had another week!” A company in Lima will soon be printing over 4000 program booklets. This Thursday at 6 pm, a large circle of people will form to pray for the success of the festival. Slowly the pulse rises. We don’t even want to measure blood pressure, otherwise the doctors will prescribe antihypertensives straight away. Will the weather stay as good as it is now? The policy remains stable. A vote of no confidence in the presidents did not take place last week. We feared that Peru would slide back into chaos. Ora et labora. Work and pray! We adhere to this motto. /KDJ

Ruben Bereswill has drawn the distribution of the tents on the computer. A good reference.
The sanitary facilities for the men will be ready before the festival.
A frosted glass window can be seen in the background. A set toilet door in the foreground.
A natural staircase leads up from campsite 3 to the leisure center.
