Lawyers from many countries listen to Diospi Suyana’s story

Top lawyers from South American and European countries sit at long tables. The place is unique. The walls of the church gleam with gold leaf in the light of the spotlights. Paintings by great masters depict scenes from ancient times. Construction of the monastery, which was later converted into a Jesuit seminary, began in 1592. The foundations once formed the basis of an Inca palace. The 5-star hotel provides a dignified setting for this international conference.

Dr. Jose Olaechea is the host. He and his 80 colleagues have been supporting Diospi Suyana’s work for almost 16 years. Diospi Suyana has won over 10 legal disputes thanks to Olaechea’s experience. And so today he welcomes a medical doctor from Curahuasi as keynote speaker.

Dr. Klaus John uses 200 pictures to explain why he believes that the God of the Bible is not a character from a storybook. The lawyers listen with fascination. They are obviously moved. They come from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Belgium, Austria and England.

Diospi Suyana leaves no one cold. No matter which world view the listeners belong to. The chain of miracles and coincidences points to an explanation that is not of this world. “Please pray for us,” says one of the lawyers as he says goodbye. If the German-Peruvian is right with his explanation, then there would be forgiveness of our sins, fellowship with God through Jesus Christ and eternal life. Then none of us would have to despair.

First a monastery, then a seminary and finally a royal papal university. Today, the complex is a 5-star hotel.
