Container No. 78 and the big shrug of the shoulders

Now we turn our full concentration to container No. 79

State agencies must also theoretically meet a certain processing time. But Digemid of the Department of Health allowed two additional weeks to pass. Again and again our employees called and complained. But on the upper floors there was only shrugging. “We are all in crisis. You’ve just had bad luck!” That was the answer, mutatis mutandis. A few days ago, when a semi-truck transported the precious cargo almost 1000 kilometers through the mountains, there were further delays at various roadblocks. The strikers did not care at all that hundreds of cars and trucks were permanently held up because of the political unrest. Reaction: shrug.

Yesterday, the container finally reached its destination and was unloaded immediately. A thank you to all the helpers who sweated on Sunday afternoon.

In one week, an ocean liner with our container No. 79 is scheduled to enter the port of Lima (Callao). Inside there are 244 large tents for the planned festival. So the motto is: “Don’t get angry, just get on with it!” (Pictures: Pit Werner)
