With four volunteers
It was originally the idea of Christian Haupt, who has headed Diospi Suyana’s orthopaedic workshop for many years. In 2024 a delegation from Diospi Suyana took part in the orthopaedic trade fair in Leipzig for the first time. In the past few days part 2 followed: Rafael Burkhardt, Sonja Müller, Maiken Givot and Carlotta Laue looked after our mission’s stand as volunteers. A big thank you for their hard work. Olga Wige helped with a free design and Sebastian Meysel was responsible for the stand design including set-up and dismantling. The trade fair office kindly waived the stand fees. The total of all donations made was in the region of €10,000.
The 50th anniversary of OT World, the world’s largest orthopaedic technology trade fair, was attended by 21,000 international trade visitors. 623 exhibitors from over 40 countries presented their innovations. Many important contacts were made for Diospi Suyana. The whole event was completely sponsored.
