Two dead
At around 3:20 p.m. yesterday, a LATAM airplane collided with a fire department car shortly after landing in Lima. The two drivers died instantly. The machine caught fire immediately. All passengers survived. The reasons for the collision are currently under investigation. Lima Airport is scheduled to remain closed until Saturday afternoon. Arriving aircraft had to be diverted.
