To work at Diospi Suyana for at least three years
Not everything the newspapers write corresponds to the facts. But the Dutch article on Saturday hit the nail on the head. The five members of the De Vries family have left the KLM plane and are well accommodated in the guest house of our mission.
Surgeon Dr. Hilbert de Vries, his wife Evelien and their three children Sarah, Deborah and Emma will soon start Spanish language lessons. And it wouldn’t do any harm at all if the other 50 volunteers could learn a few hundred words in Dutch.
For now, we say: “Beste familie De Vries, welkom in Peru. Wij wachten al heel lang op je!”
