The angel on the laptop

Janet Yachoua has translated all four Diospi Suyana books into English

The missionary doctors John have published four books so far. 1,000 pages with around 200 chapters. The stories encourage Christians and make atheists wonder. And it is precisely this saga of Diospi Suyana that the Englishwoman Janet Yachoua has made available to an English readership on a voluntary basis.

Janet Yachoua: Determined and enthusiastic. She has persevered.

The likeable servant of her king has a busy professional life and also runs her household. She is also extremely involved in a church congregation.

But somehow – and this is her secret – she has painstakingly translated all the volumes into English.

She received no payment for this marathon, which began in 201o and reached its provisional conclusion yesterday.

She wrote in typical English modesty: “What a blessing for me to be involved in this work. Thank you!”

What to say about it? That’s how the islanders from Great Britain are with their proverbial understatement.

The book “Diospi Suyana – An Experiment with God” has a lot to offer. A Norwegian orthopaedic surgeon who speaks German recently said: “I’ve read the book, it’s a very exciting story, and my mother-in-law is currently reading it!”

The book for a long night is available from Brunnen Verlag.
