Special News – Dr David Brady treats his 1,000th prostatectomy patient

Hard work and thankful patients

On Wednesday morning at 11a.m two very special interview partners were sitting in one of Diospi Suyana’s Radio studios: urologist Dr. David Brady and his patient Bartolome Mamani. the reason is something to be proud of: to date the Austrian has performed 1,000 prostatectomy operations at the missionary hospital: an impressive benchmark!
Dr Brady has performed prostrate operations on patients hailing from 12 Peruvian states.  How can one explain such demand?  An easy answer: thankful patients spread the good results by word of mouth.  Hence it is no surprise that David’s waiting list reaches well into September.

In the 20 minute radio broadcast numbers and facts are recounted.  And then the doctor spoke about a habit that will probably surprise many of you: before every operation, if the patient agrees, David says a short prayer and asks for God’s blessing.  Not a bad idea.  We at Diospi Suyana believe that God hears and answers prayers.

Diospi Suyana congratulates Dr Brady most cordially to this fantastic achievement and we share Sr Bartolome Mamani‘s joy about the successful outcome of his operation, the 1,000 prostatectomy at our missionary hospital.
