Solar Energy For Diospi Suyana

Dear Friends of Diospi Suyana,

On Monday night, Tobias Loescher and his team finally arrived in Curahuasi. They carried dangerous-looking solar equipment in their luggage and remained undetected by the customs officials and so they were able to jump right into work on Tuesday morning. They quickly unpacked the solar panels, which were admired by some surprised local workers.

About 75% of the network cables has been laid. The second delivery of tiles reached the construction site and the emergency ward, the administrative building and the west wing of the patient ward are being tiled.

The painters have started on the interior. And the roof construction for the stage of the amphitheater is progressing nicely.

Well, that’s the brief update of this week’s work.

Greetings, Udo
