An evening meeting at the Radiology Clinic in Erlangen
The winners of the Future Prize 2023 decided to donate their prize money to an MRI scanner. Prof. Dr. Ralf Thomas, CFO of Siemens AG (top left), increased this amount enormously. In this way the Hospital Diospi Suyana received a brand new MRI scanner including a ten-year guarantee. Yesterday Dr. Klaus John thanked everyone involved for their unprecedented act of generosity. The brother of one of the prize winners had made a mistake on Spotify in spring 2022 and downloaded an audio book with the story of Diospi Suyana instead of a certain song. A year and a half later he established contact between the three scientists and our mission. In his presentation, the German-Peruvian explained the concatenation of these coincidences in advance with God’s blessing.
Within the next few days, the device at the Diospi Suyana Hospital should be up and running. The demand from the population is huge.
