Inspection in the warehouse
It’s not an easy job. Karin Straßheim and Hanna Kaal from our home office inspect the actual stock in the warehouse. Container No. 82 is to be shipped to Peru by the end of January at the latest. The contents are impressive: Medical equipment for the hospital, high-tech for the youth festival and a photovoltaic heating system for the multifunctional conference center. And much more.
And then the ocean liner has to cross the Atlantic, despite all the winter storms. Fortunately, the route only goes through the Panama Canal and not the Red Sea. None of our containers have gone overboard since 2006. We were also spared pirate attacks. And… Lima customs has released all our containers so far. (Photos: Dr. Martina John)
