A gigantic start to the festival

The intermediate status around 8:30 p.m.: 3,000 visitors

They say you should only run one marathon a year. The same can be said of a festival. Yesterday morning, the number of registrations was around 1750. But as the lines grew longer in the afternoon, it was clear that we were in for a surprise. 3000 guests and curahuasinos experienced two concerts in the amphitheater that are likely to be etched in the memory. A mood like from another star. Not only the young people were jumping and dancing.

After the concert of the Mexican band Rojo, many volunteers had to set up an additional camp on the sports field of our school. The performance of the Colombian group “Generación 12” went on until half past eleven at night. Quite a few people had tears in their eyes from joy. The character of the first evening event resembled a friends’ party. Rightly so, because if God exists, then there is hope, love, meaning and fulfillment.

Now at half past two in the morning probably about 2400 guests are in various tent camps. All the hot hotels in Curahuasi are sold out. Hundreds of cell phones have accumulated more clips than you can count.

Many agreed: Only God can put on such an event in times of crisis. A thank you to all employees who worked to the point of complete exhaustion. /KDJ

Pure enthusiasm.
Already in the morning some buses with young people from Lima had arrived.
Volunteers around Ruben Bereswill and Michael Friedemann set up an additional camp on the sports field of the Diospi Suyana School on an emergency basis
