Is the second wave coming?
The corona-virus is omnipresent. Well over 700 people have been tested positively on the virus in the missionary hospital’s entrance area. Most patients are sent straight home into quarantine. But it cannot be ruled out that South America goes through a similar development as Europe. Should the intensive care stations quickly fill up with patients then the Hospital Diospi Suyana will be able to provide all patients with sufficient oxygen.
Through our new generator – our fourth – our O2 production now lies at roughly 700litres per minute. Over the past week our technicians have laid all the necessary ports. We do not know what the future brings, but it is sensible to expect the worst, but hope for the best.
