Diospi-Suyana-Information-Day on 23rd June
Back in the good old days a captain would comb the harbour pubs and generously pay for a bottle of rum for each ordinary seaman, who would then wake up with a hangover the next day on board a threemasted ship, heading full steam towards the Caribbean. To date Diospi Suyana has not had to resort to such seafaring methods for recruiting new staff. We rely on patient persuasiveness.
On 23rd June 2018 our next Information Day for interested potential members of staff is being held. The event kicks off with a lunch in an attractive parish centre in Langgöns near Gießen. In order to register to attend this event please either call +49-6447-886-498 or send an email to: karin.strassheim@diospi-suyana.org.
We are looking for doctors and nurses, IT-specialists and craftsmen, social workers and x-ray specialists, medical-technical-assistants, opticians, mechatronics and management professionals. We are constantly searching for teachers with excellent Spanish skills and our Media Centre needs more TV- and radio-experts.
And these are the conditions: a minimum of three years in Curahuasi, a living faith, financially backed by a private circle of friends. Bearing these prerequisites in mind it is incredible that over 160 long-term workers have come to Diospi Suyana.
And we did not even have to buy one barrel of rum. Nor does anyone have to sail to Peru. 15 airlines fly to Lima, comfortably and without sea-sickness.
