Just like old times – the civil engineer writes a construction report again
Dear Diospi Suyana friends, as already mentioned in the news of 27.08. on the DS home page suspected I am actually once again for a short time in Curahuasi. There are two new construction projects coming up that I will be getting underway.
A second warehouse on the hospital grounds and a recreational home on the festival camping grounds in Lucmos. The warehouse is identical in construction to the first one we reported on in May of this year and will more or less be a no-brainer for our workers. The foundation work started on 01 September and is already progressing rapidly.
The recreation home will be built on the hillside between campsite 1 + 2, right next to the old adobe masonry mill. Extensive demolition and excavation work is required. According to the available soil expertise, the building will be founded on a beam grid over deep individual foundations. The first floor wall on the slope side is designed as a reinforced concrete retaining wall.
The rough mechanical earthwork and demolition work has now been completed and now the work continues by hand.
