Standing still would be a step backwards
The walls of the second storage hall for the festival equipment stand silently in the dusk (picture above). Even the layman can recognize what is to be created here.
At the lower festival site, engineer Darwin Chillituba leads the team. The recreation home is to be built in stages. By the start of the festival at the end of April 2024, we need the complete sanitary facilities for the male participants. Floors 2 and 3 can follow quietly until the end of the year. However, we hope to start on the missing school buildings in January 2025.
In Ayacucho, a group around Sr. Talaverano is building the transmitter. We hope to be on the air there in a few weeks. Diospi Suyana would then have 12 radio towers in southern Peru. – So there is good news all around.
