The young people came from all directions
After the bad weather forecasts, we were delighted with the sunshine and high temperatures. Many of the participants had to cover distances of 2,000 kilometers. Despite tiredness and exhaustion, the atmosphere was fantastic. We have not heard of any serious accidents so far. The registration and handling of the crowds went very smoothly. Young people were registering online well into the night.
350 volunteers and construction workers toiled until late afternoon. The organization was excellent. The two tent roofs were up and the festival could begin.
We thank God from the bottom of our hearts that all the essential preparations – time pressure and adversity aside – were completed to the day. We ourselves had hardly thought this amazing result possible. /KDJ
