A responsible handling of financial donations
Last year Diospi Suyana only had 6.7% administration expenditures. This amazing figure can be explained by the lifeblood of countless voluntary helpers. Once again the Deutsche Evangelische Allianz (German Protestant Alliance) awarded the donation verification certificate to Diospi Suyana. Prior to being awarded with this certificate we were examined in great detail by a state-sworn auditor.
The statutory purposes reached greatest possible effectiveness and economising, taking economic aspects into consideration.
Since 2004 Diospi Suyana has received financial donations and donations in kind worth more than USD35mio. These have helped realise a hospital with 100 beds with best equipment, a state-of-the-art school that can hold up to 700 pupils, a media centre with its own TV- and radio channel, eight transmission towers in the south of the country, a building for our children’s clubs and a guest house in Lima. The $35mio were also used to treat more than 0.4mio poor patients and look after thousands of children.
And how was it possible to do all this with “only” 35 million USD?
It was all due to God’s blessing. Jesus once fed five thousand people with five loaves and two fish. There are indeed similarities between our mission work and the miraculous feeding in biblical times.
