Over the past six months, more and more parents have been bringing their children with cancer to Hospital Diospi Suyana. It’s almost always the same story: their son or daughter urgently needs an MRI scan. In Cusco, the waitlists for MRI scans are long, the prices at private clinics are prohibitively high, or the machines are even broken.
