The IJFD volunteers are bursting with energy
What a relief that the air traffic controller in the tower granted the captain permission to land yesterday. That allowed our three volunteer staff members to disembark from the plane and begin their service at Diospi Suyana. Lena Käfer, Salome Wittig, and Tabea Petzold will be working at our school for a full year.
Blue skies, bright prospects, and high motivation. With this combination, the young women’s assignment is sure to be a great success. We wish them valuable life experiences and safety on the Peruvian roads.
