If God wasn’t the mastermind behind this donation, who was?

Spring 2022: Entrepreneur Dr. Stefan Uder wants to download a song by the group Patchwork on Spotify. But he has a little mishap: instead of that song, he finds an audio entitled “I have seen God” on his cell phone. On a business trip he hears the story of Diospi Suyana in the car and is totally moved.
A year later, his brother Prof. Michael Uder wins Germany’s Future Prize together with Siemens engineers Dr. Stephan Bieber and Dr. David Grodzki. They had developed a completely new type of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner – an ingenious invention.
When Stefan Uder hears about this prestigious award from his family, he remembers the audio book that he had devoured with great excitement a year earlier. He asks himself: “Wouldn’t this achievement be just the thing for that hospital in Peru?”
In January 2024, he arranges a meeting between the prizewinners and Dr. John. The result is the largest donation in kind Diospi Suyana has ever received. As already mentioned several times, the symbolic handover took place in the presence of the German Federal President at Bellevue Palace on November 27th.
There are probably well over 100,000 hospitals in the Global South that would all be delighted to receive an MRI as a gift. But only one will receive this new development at zero cost – Diospi Suyana.
