To say thank you
Ms Hermelinda Warton, who listens to Diospi Suyana’s radio programme every day, had a wish. And the wish was so important that she got someone to drive her to Curahuasi, an hour’s drive from her house in Cusco State. Doris Manco, head of our Media Centre, cordially welcomed the dear guest.
“I desperately wanted to meet the radio staff in person,” said the old lady and continued: “Every day your programme is my faithful companion.” The programme she likes the most is broadcast every first Friday of the month: listeners can call in and ask for prayer for themselves or their personal life circumstances.
It goes without saying that Hermelinda was allowed to speak directly to all the listeners from Radio Diospi Suyana: “We must pray regularly for our beloved Peru,” she said with deepest conviction into the microphone. What wise and true words!
