A missionary doctor pulls his hat

After a lecture before 170 students in Capernwray Hall in Lancashire (northern England), Dr. John spoke to a small Salvation Army church in southern England. As usual with the Salvation Army, the members appeared in their uniforms. The mission doctor said in his introduction, “I have given nearly 2000 lectures worldwide about Diospi Suyana, but I have never been before the Salvation Army.  I really admire you for what you do. We all know that the Salvation Army workers get their hands dirty in the streets.  They do exactly the work Jesus has called us all to do!”  In both events was the spark.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 by William Booth in England.  It is a small evangelical free church with 1.7 million members.  It works primarily under the edge of society.  From the beginning, the Salvation Army has pushed for the equality of women; therefore, within their organization one can find many women in management positions.

On Tuesday morning the tour continues with a radio interview in Altricham, Manchester.
