Invited by the medical association of Apurimac, Katrin Krägler,
Señorita Quispe and Dr John visited the medical association in
Andahuaylas in the North Western part of the state.
After having highlighted the significance of the cross of Christ in
his life, as he always does, the missionary doctor said the following:
The crucial attribute of the hospital is not its modern lab or the CT
scanner. But we want to treat all of our patients with respect and
love. In the end, we always lose the battle against death, whether we
have a CT scanner or not. But there is one hope: God is real and he
loves us.
We live and work in Peru driven by this message. Christ’s empty tomb
with the hope of eternal life gives us the strength to fight against
human suffering.
