Hello, dear Diospi Suyana Friends, as already mentioned last week our building and maintenance team continues working on many fronts. We improved the lawn in front of the Children’s House so that it is ready for the new season: next week the various children’s clubs will restart after the holidays. The building itself was given a new coat of paint.
The construction work proper at the Aerial Tower Site has been completed and we have started deconstructing the building site. We have given the radio technicians the go-ahead to start installing the necessary aerials and do the wiring. The electricity provider Electro Sur will hopefully put the 4 or 5 concrete posts in place and construct the power cables from the town to the site.
A local company in Andahuaylas has started building the aerial unit. In a couple of weeks a 36m high antenna will be built; then we will focus on our next aerial site in Chincheros – please look on our website for more information.
The screed works in the second stage of construction in the Hospital’s New Storey are completed; the tiling of the bathrooms progresses steadily.
