A long overdue measure
On the lawn next to the Diospi Suyana Hospital there was a hodgepodge of discarded objects. A hard-working team led by Tobias Lächele had sifted through 1001 objects as part of a painstaking clean-up operation. They had been lying in dark storage rooms under the roof of the hospital for years. And it had long been clear that most of them belonged to the junk category. But who wants to tidy up the dusty corners?
This campaign lasted almost two weeks. Some of the items were sold to the highest bidder to interested employees. And even the scrap iron dealer found what he was looking for. He also paid cash for discarded items.
