And the weather is also on our side
Hello, dear Diospi Friends, compared to last week the weather has improved markedly this week and we have not had any more of the huge deluges we experienced recently. According to the locals it should stay dry until December – this would suit us fine!
The roofing work is progressing nicely. The welding works for the roof construction are completed bar the affixing the eaves purlin on the curved side of the building and all hands are on deck working on the roof covering. Transporting the roofing slabs by hand over the ramp and then through the skylight is a somewhat cumbersome and laborious task. Attaching the housewrap as a further protection against rain and dust also takes time.
Inside the building the plastering work continues, window panes are being encased and concreted and everything is being prepared for the screed works.
