I have never heard such a story before

Just after 7 on Tuesday morning I pick up Kurunmaki Riina. She is a medical student from Helsinki who visited Hospital Diospi Suyana in April.

We are soon headed 200km north to a highway restaurant near the city of Tampere where we have arranged to meet David Sterling at 10:30am. This British-born gentleman has lived the past 40 years in Finland where he is a busy pastor. His many activities include managing a publishing house. Upon meeting him, it is quickly apparent that he has a lot of experience in dealing with people.

At the end of my laptop presentation of the work of Diospi Suyana, David remains silent for a long time. Finally he tells me, “In all my 59 years of life, I have never heard such a story.” Then his first idea is this, “We have to translate the book “I Have Seen God” into the Finnish language as quickly as possible!”

Following this meeting Rina and I are back on the road for another 200km trip. By 2pm we are standing in the main entrance of the Seinajoki Hospital waiting for the medical director to meet us. At 3 o’clock we enter the hospital’s auditorium where we are greeted by 30 doctors and nurses who are sitting quietly, awaiting my presentation. No sooner have I finished talking than 2 doctors come up to speak with me. One says to me, “Diospi Suyana is incredible – nothing short of incredible!” The other colleague quietly comments, “Here in Finland we have everything we need and still we are not happy. It is difficult for us to talk about God.”

After a quick dinner with a GP doctor I am back on the road again, this time to make the 400km trip back to Helsinki. Wednesday promises to be even more exciting! KDJ
