Gray walls today – changed relationships tomorrow
Who could have guessed in September 2006 what blessings would one day emanate from the hospital church building? At that time, the windows were shuttered and Udo Klemenz reported weekly on the progress of the concrete front. In the years that followed, over 4000 church services were celebrated within these walls. Events of all kinds found a beautiful ambience in the church hall. This weekend, 150 women will be able to enjoy the infrastructure that began in 2006 with cement, steel and stones. (We will report further on the women’s conference).
Our leisure center, which is currently under construction, could one day have a similar significance to the church. Young people and adults will not only spend beautiful days on the festival grounds, but will hear that Jesus Christ offers exactly what we long for in a dark world: Love, forgiveness, orientation and hope. We are already looking forward to seeing who will lead this area of work with energy and imagination in the future. /KDJ
