Working on a free Saturday
It’s not a bad idea really. This year’s a small bookmark will be put into the envelopes along with Diospi Suyana’s Christmas Round Robin. Yesterday afternoon many volunteers fought against the clock and against cramp in their fingers. Just before 9 p.m. a big cheer went up: Katharina Besold announced: “3,100 are finished!” However, there are several thousand more envelopes to fill. But yesterday’s motto was, “we will not let ourselves be discouraged!”
We all hope the recipients of the envelopes will take pleasure in the handmade bookmarks.
