Even in the dark
At night they arrive and all stand in a row. During the vacation months we usually have about 200 people line up each morning outside the fence of the mission hospital. In the rainy season, the long wait can cause a cold and damp situation. This gave our 8 visitors from Chile a reason to get up during the night. They went to the long line of patients and passed out a warm cup of tea to each one.
Their offer: tea and conversation. They told the people what it meant to have faith in Jesus Christ and why they came for two weeks to Peru. – We thank Kathi and Dominik Hüttner and Simon Giesbrecht who coordinated this outreach. Note: In Chile there are no mission hospitals.
