The pediatrician from Arequipa was a great help to us
In July 2024, two pediatricians from England and Germany finished their assignment at the Hospital Diospi Suyana as planned. This left Dr. Martina John as the only paediatrician. But in those very days, Dr. Pepita literally appeared out of nowhere. The young pediatrician (above in pink trousers) had visited the Diospi Suyana Hospital in 2018 and had never been able to forget the missionary hospital. Her one and a half years of work filled a big gap. At yesterday’s farewell, her colleague Dr. John said: “Pepita was a real answer to prayer for us!” In the meantime, pediatrician Dr. Christian Reibold from Leipzig has completed his language training (back row in red) and joined the team.
