Diospi Suyana is happy to support the training of young nurses
In Peru, prospective nurses have to complete a five-year university course. For some years now, the best graduates of the UTEA University have been allowed to spend a certain period of time at the Hospital Diospi Suyana.
On January 27, the rector of the university, Dra. Carolina Soto Carrión, and Dr. Edo Gallegos Aparicio, director of the nursing course, accompanied the new group to Curahuasi.
On the UTEA website the rector publicly thanks Diospi Suyana for the cooperation. She praises the hospital’s modern infrastructure and acknowledges our mission’s contribution to the medical care of Peru’s poorest population groups.
On the occasion of the visit, UTEA presented the hospital with an extensive donation of everyday items. Diospi Suyana is delighted about this good cooperation.
