She has a Peruvian doctor’s license
Last Friday in the Peruvian Medical Association in Cusco Dr Cale was handed her lifelong doctor’s license. It was a long journey to reach this goal. Among other things the US-American had to pass a written exam in Lima and had to carry a long list of documents from one office to the next. Her motive? She wanted to continue working as a missionary doctor in the Hospital Diospi Suyana without being paid by us – but that goes without saying. Her commitment is supported by a large circle of friends, which she has had to build up herself over the past few years.
We rejoice with Ari that she has her doctor’s ID card in her white coat and her certificate in the cupboard at home. We now have five missionary doctors at the Hospital who have a legal Peruvian license. Congratulations to our new colleague and a big “Dankeschön” to God./KDJ
