The challenges remain
Our guests have long left Curahuasi and Wiesbaden and have returned to their daily routines. The daily morning queue of patients continues unabatedly and doctors and nurses help where they can. But the ravages of time gnaw unceasingly and equipment needs to be replaced regularly. That is why we are so thankful that the medical-technical-company Atmos donated a surgical suction apparatus for our operating theatres, valued at €2,000.
The demand for employees continues to grow. We are looking for new colleagues to join our hospital’s medical, nursing, administration and IT-technology teams. Furthermore, the school needs more teachers. Thus the daily battle continues for as long as Diospi Suyana is present in the Peruvian Andes.
