She knows where she is heading
Noa is 12 years old and like many children of the same age might enjoy hanging out in front of the TV or surfing on Facebook. Instead however, the young lady from Herne, Germany shows enthusiasm, diligence and hard work. She has spent ten days at the market selling items to raise funds for Diospi Suyana. She is helped by her aunt Daniela. If you ask Noa what she wants to do later, she gives a clear reply. “In time, I want to get involved at Diospi Suyana in Peru.”

She recently wrote a short report to our German office: Our 10th day at the market for Diospi Suyana – It all began with “snail shells”…
When my sister and I heard a lecture by Dr. Klaus-Kieter John, we came up with this awesome idea. We would paint snail shells and sell them to the neighboring houses to help support this great project.
After sometime, with the help of my aunt, we started making other things like cookies for birds, bookmarks, cards, and my grandma sewed teddy bears. We sold them at a market in Ehringhausen. Shortly thereafter, we had a booth at the Kreativa in Braunfels, where we are now for the fourth time. In total, we have spent 10 days at the market selling items for Diospi Suyana.
I love it and it feels good that I am able to help support Diospi Suyana. This time it was very nice. I hope that there will be a Diospi Suyana for a long time.
Sincerely, Noa Bahr
