Everything is beautiful
Dear Diospi Suyana friends and readers of the building report, I would like to wish you all a happy new year and God’s blessings in 2015. I hope there is much to build this year that you can follow through the building reports.
The construction work on the school continues, especially on the school garden and the sports field. In the garden we now have concreted the shell for the pond and the retaining walls have been completed, which are reminiscent of the Andes. The sports field is now virtually level. Next we will build a drainage system to allow rainwater to flow away from the field. When this is done, the whole area is filled with about 10 cm of sand and good soil and seeded with grass.
In the basement of the kindergarten the tilers are still busy, but by the end of next week this should be completed. But that doesn’t mean they are then unemployed. Upstairs in the hospital the flooring has been installed in the new warehouse space, therefore we are ready for the tiles to be laid.
Because now we are on summer vacation, the teachers are not often in the buildings, allowing the painters to complete the second coat of paint in the administration building. Unfortunately, this couldn’t be done during the busy weeks before the inauguration last year.
