As hard-working as ants
During the long holidays construction workers take over the school grounds. Currently they are working on a duct through which the new kindergarten building will get its electricity- and water-supply. A roof to protect the little children from the UV-rays will be built over the future sandpit. Matthias Kügler is laying the impact-protection tiles around the outside climbing frame in order to break the children’s fall should they take a tumble. Ball-protection netting has been put up between the sports ground and the kindergarten building to lengthen the life of the large window façade.
Yesterday morning CMA’s container ship that holds our Container#70 arrived at Lima/Callao Port. We can hardly wait to experience the installation of the eye clinic’s outside lift. We hope that all of the lift’s components will reach the hospital safely. The lift’s shaft has already been completed.
The library behind the hospital is still missing one desk. In the coming months we want to focus on promoting our staff’s interest in reading.
Since yesterday our TV-channel is broadcasting in 0ur District.
The missing part has been installed. Congratulations to Carlos Aymituma, Guisella Barzola and Isaac Panez.
The pictures prove that several improvements have been made in various places. Stagnation would be a step backwards.
