April 26, 2024 – The milestone firmly in sight.

Civil engineer Udo Klemenz returns

That’s how it is in life. There are always time constraints and local conditions that you have to come to terms with. The sanitary facilities for the male festival participants must at least be ready for use in the next two and a half months. Legend Udo Klemenz is coming to Curahuasi again to ensure that nothing goes wrong with this project. The motto for the construction site will be: “We’re going full steam ahead!”

A team led by engineer Darwin Chillituba will be working on an extension to the amphitheater over the next few weeks. With the additional standing room at the back, there will be space for 4,000 people. We wish there were more, but fences and plot sizes are unforgiving.

Thanks to Tobias Lächele for the pictures. The boss of our workshops is working hard on many fronts. And what he does, he does well. /KDJ

The last beams were concreted.
The staircase from the sanitary facilities in the basement to the rooms on the mezzanine floor is being built here.
Entrance to the sanitary facilities for male festival visitors.
At least 400 standing places will be created in this area. A strong retaining wall is to be built on the right. The site is then backfilled. In the picture engineer Darwin Chillituba.
These stones are used to build the retaining wall.
