. Preparations are in full swing. The club kids have been rehearsing under the guidance of Marta Miranda. The actress from London is sure to inspire the boys and girls with her enthusiasm again this year. The musical late Saturday afternoon is the first of three highlights.
On Sunday morning, we plan to celebrate a thanksgiving service in the amphitheater together with Christians from many different congregations. Pastor Arnold Enns from Asunción will deliver the sermon.
On August 31, we will give thanks to God for 19 years of Hospital Diospi Suyana and 10 years of the Media Center. The results of recent years have been breathtaking. They have inspired people in many countries to actively live out and profess their faith. At the start of the event, the guests of honor from Paraguay will also cut a red ribbon at the entrance to the “Christian Meeting Place.” The first course will begin on September 14 under the direction of Dr. Thomas Tielmann. We thank God for the great blessing we have experienced in Curahuasi. Hundreds of thousands have been encouraged, healed, and comforted through the hospital, the school, the Media Center, the children’s clubs, and our festivals. Is that a reason for three parties?
