An interesting statement from our last three resident physicians

An Experience to Last a Lifetime

Group photos are often taken during the doctors’ morning meetings. Usually, the occasion is the farewell of our resident physicians. In recent years, several hundred young doctors have worked at Hospital Diospi Suyana for a few weeks at a time. When they finally say goodbye, their comments are almost always very similar. The photo above was taken a week ago when three visiting doctors said their goodbyes.

They said, “Our time at Diospi Suyana was the best rotation we’ve had so far during our training. The spiritual aspect really touches the heart, and the loving care given to the patients is one of a kind. Honestly, it’s hard to find the right words to describe this experience!”

The example set by our mission doctors and nurses leaves a lasting impression on visitors. In this way, the mindset of future medical specialists is transformed. As a result, colleagues who have formed friendly ties with Diospi Suyana are now working in many parts of the country. May the assessment of the resident physicians in five and ten years’ time be the same as it has been in the past. (According to a conservative estimate, between 300 and 400 resident physicians from a wide variety of universities have worked at the mission hospital to date.) / KDJ
