Of course with a small gift again
The 2023 Christmas letter is the 98th that Diospi Suyana has sent out since 2004. The content consists of two pages of packed information. In the editorial, the missionary doctors John write under the headline “Almost too good to be true”:
“Imagine that God really exists. Someone who is interested in us. A power that offers us friendship, orientation and help. Forgiveness and grace would not be pious buzzwords. Justice and a
eternal life would be as real as this letter in your hand. And heaven a place of harmony without tears, selfishness and sadness. For many people, such an idea seems like a dream from a utopian world. The Bible’s Christmas message says exactly that: God is real and he cares about us. We consider this good news to be trustworthy. And that is why we work enthusiastically for the poor and disadvantaged in Peru.
