Christmas Party for the Children’s Clubs

Blick auf Buehne

The Grand Finale

Four hours of fun that also included some learning.  Saturday, all nine kids clubs of Diospi Suyana met in the amphitheater for a big Christmas party.  Friends and parents were allowed to participate in the event.  About 800 children enjoyed the colorful program prepared by the staff.  It was a hot day, and the cloudy sky that arrived in the afternoon came at just the right time.

All the clubs contributed to the event.  Subsequently, there were 17 stations for children and adults to enjoy.  We would like to extend a big thank you to all the volunteers and especially Alex Kopp for her creative preparation.  For the children, the event was a highlight of the season.  Photographer Ryan Morigeau and Lisa Isaac captured many beautiful moments with their cameras.

The Lucmus club told the Christmas story in rap form.  “¡Navidad es bueno, el Salvador nació como una señal de su gran amor! Dios ama a los hombres con toda su maldad. Así mano a su hijo en la Navidad!”

“Christmas is nice because the Savior was born as a token of His love. God loves all the people even with their wickedness and sent His Son to earth for them!”
