An accidental finding
The doctors at Diospi Suyana Mission Hospital often hear incredible stories and meet the most interesting patients. A few days ago Dr. Kirstin Morigeau examined a young man who strayed off the road eight months ago with his motorcycle. The patient survived the fall of more than 30 feet. During his exam, he asked for an x-ray of his right upper arm, because he had pain their for quite some time after the accident.

The radiograph of the arm revealed nothing unusual. However, the picture also showed part of the lung, which had some pathological changes. Additional radiographs were made and even a layman could recognize the large nodule. Further diagnostic tests revealed pulmonary tuberculosis.
For the young man, this unexpected news was obviously a shock. However, now he can recover from his disease with the appropriate treatment.
Dr. Morigeau believes as a Christian, not in coincidences. She explained to the patient that his visit to Diospi Suyana very likely was lifesaving. And she also explained that there is also an “eternal life” for all those who put their faith in God.
