Teachers in Peru begin an indefinite strike

But teaching goes ahead as normal at the Diospi-Suyana-School

0.35 million Peruvian teachers working in public schools started an indefinite strike today.  8 million pupils visiting the state’s educational establishments are affected.  Once again the teachers are demanding higher wages.  At the Colegio Diospi Suyana classes are going ahead as normal.  In the past some teachers’ strikes in Peru have gone on for almost two months.
