The four patients in the picture live many hundreds of kilometers apart. They all traveled to Curahuasi to be operated on by our urologist, Dr. Zeier. They were attracted by the good reputation of the mission hospital. Of course, Diospi Suyana also offers the poor patients the best prices in Peru and can boast excellent results.
Another aspect must not be underestimated: Faith! Those seeking help know that no missionary doctor works at the hospital for the sake of money. Rather, it is a matter of turning to one’s neighbor in the name of Christ’s love. This is not a pious saying or an advertising slogan. In two weeks, we will honor our 500,000th patient visit.
