The trip to Guatemala City was not in vain

Gynecologist Dr. Keren Castellanos at the Hospital Diospi Suyana for one month

It’s been a while since you could hear the cry of a newborn baby in the operating theater. Dr. Keren Castellanos has been working at the Diospi Suyana Hospital for a few days now. On October 4th the gynecologist saw the end of a TV report about Diospi Suyana on a TV channel in Guatemala. A few hours later, he contacted me by e-mail.

On his way back to Peru, Dr. John met the sisters Dr. Keren and Dr. Hadassha Castellanos at the airport in Guatemala City. On Monday, Keren saw the first patients in our outpatient clinic. So far, the doctor has probably already treated 100 women at the missionary hospital. At the operating table, it becomes clear that the friendly colleague knows exactly what she is doing. We thank the Guatemalan woman for her help. Hopefully, the committed Christian will visit us often in Curahuasi. /KDJ
