The Diospi Suyana School’s distance learning programme has been officially approved

Only two out of 32 private schools were successful with their first application

The pile of paper you can see above contains 200 pages of creative programmes for the kindergarten, primary and secondary school.  Each page contains creative ideas and clearly defined learning goals.  Yesterday director Christian Bigalke, academic director Sr. Niklas Sierras and Dr Klaus John drove to Abancay in order to speed up the bureaucratic procedures.

After a meeting with the governor of the educational authority Diospi Suyana’s distance learning programme was given the official state recognition.  That means that the far-reaching materials can be used during the school year 2020.  It is expected that all schools in Peru will remain closed for the rest of 2020.

We thank the heads and the teachers who put a great deal of hard work into conceptualising the teaching materials.  No one wanted to have the Corona crisis.  But we at Diospi Suyana want to make the best out of such a dire situation.

Director Christian Bigalke proudly holds the authorisation for the school’s distance learning programme towards the camera.  Next to him stands Sr. Niklas Sierras, academic director, and on the right Dr Klaus John (the school’s promotor).
