Feedback from our listeners
Our radio channel that is transmitted from various locations in Southern Peru is gaining in popularity. Between May and December 2020 we received 7,267 messages from our listeners. This is an incredible number since in our experience only very few people actively contact a radio station having listened to one or more of their programmes.
What our programmes mean to countless men and women becomes clear through the many personal and heartfelt comments. For more than one year 80-year-old Doña Rosa Elena living in Puno is one of our faithful listeners. She loves to listen to our morning broadcasts and has even made a generous donation to our Media Centre.
Tania Orellana who also lives in Southern Peru writes that Radio Diospi Suyana helped her find her way back to the Christian Faith. This has also had a positive effect in her family.
Mr and Mrs Ginocchio have their own radio channel in Chosica on the Peruvian coast (see above picture). On every first Friday of the month they broadcast Diospi Suyana’s “Vigilia”, a programme during which people living in all parts of Peru can call in and share their prayer requests with us. Radio Diospi Suyana has enormous potential and enjoys growing influence.
Diospi Suyana-Radio TV is one field of our work; the other three are the hospital, the school and the Children Clubs; the latter serves several hundreds of boys and girls.
