At the gates of the big city of Ayacucho
If everything works out with the energy supply, our transmitter in Ayacucho could start operating in two weeks. In Peru, unfortunately, there are often surprises. Sometimes the weather is unfavorable, sometimes a dispute with various authorities unleashes. Occasionally, the roads are closed by wildcat strikes.
But as optimists, we are pleased with this milestone. Our 12 towers can reach 50% of all people in the states of Apurimac, Cusco, Puno, Madre de Dios and Ayacucho.
Who would have expected such a breathtaking development seven years ago? We don’t.
The program is a mixture of music, news, interviews and devotions. We broadcast in Spanish and in Quechua. The themes are also colorful. They deal with family, health, faith and current affairs. /KDJ
